My name is Sebastian, and I am a 31-year-old data scientist with a passion for biomedicine and real-world applications. I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, where I earned my BSc. Chemistry in 2016 and BSc. Physics in 2017. I pursued my Ph.D. in biocomputational sciences at the Italian Institute of Technology (2021). I went on to work as a data scientist and software developer in the hydropower industry, which helped me hone my programming skills. Now, I am a data science consultant employed by Expert Analytics AS and working for Oslo University Hospital. I currently develop data pipelines to automatically analyze proteomics data and predict clinical outcomes using machine learning models.
