Welcome!
My name is Sebastian, and I am a 30-year-old data scientist with a passion for biomedicine and cancer research, topics on which I develop new skills every day. I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, where I earned my BSc. Chemistry in 2016 and BSc. Physics in 2017. I pursued my PhD in biocomputational and biotechnological sciences at the Italian Institute of Technology. Then, I went on to work as a data analyst and software developer in the hydropower industry, which helped me hone my programming skills. Currently, I am a senior data science consultant for Expert Analytics AS. I most recently have been working in automating analysis pipelines and predicting clinical outcomes from immunological data using machine learning models.
